This is my 1965 427 S/C Cobra. This car is pretty much all original, a 427 side oiler with aluminum medium riser heads. Originally rated at 485 horsepower, this car made 553. That propels a 2200 pound aluminum car the size of an MG pretty well, I assure you.

The 427 cars had a 4" tubular frame, 4 wheel independent coil over suspension, and a Salisbury IRS. This car has 3.54 gears. It is stupidly fast, back in the day the Shelby mechanics considered the 427 cars lethal. They would bet on how long it would be before a car came back blown up or wadded up in a box.
